28 February | Planning + Reform Tracker

The first couple of months have seen some unexpected and timely policy announcements from the NSW Government.  Industry has welcomed both the Industrial Lands Action Plan and the finalisation of the long-awaited Low and Mid-Rise Housing Policy.  In addition, the Housing Delivery Authority has released its first set of assessments and has agreed that eleven projects should be diverted into a State Significant assessment pathway.

This has meant some genuine movement in our ‘Planning Reform Tracker’, the monthly table that we use to track the progress of major NSW Government policy and regulatory proposals from the initial announcement through to implementation – have a look and we will keep tracking the Government’s policy and legislative announcements and progress.
