QUICK REFORM PROGRESS OVERVIEW

REFORM + PRECINCT TRACKER

Deputy Premier and Leader of the Nationals, Paul Toole first entered the NSW Parliament as the Member for Bathurst in the 2011 State Election and has since been re-elected in 2015 and 2019.

Prior to his current appointments as the Minister for Regional New South Wales and Minister for Police, he held several Ministerial appointments including Minister for Local Government, Minister for Racing, Minister for Lands and Forestry, and Minister for Regional Transport and Roads.

Toole holds a Diploma in Teaching from the Mitchell College of Advanced Education, which he received in 1991. Prior to entering the NSW Parliament, Toole was a primary school teacher for almost 20 years. He then became a member of the local council, and went on to hold the offices of Councillor, Deputy Mayor and Mayor of the Bathurst Regional Council.

Toole is passionate about investment in regional infrastructure. He is a popular leader within the party rooms of the National and Liberal parties and is well supported by Sally White, his Chief of Staff, who is also very experienced and well-respected within government.
