QUICK REFORM PROGRESS OVERVIEW
REFORM + PRECINCT TRACKER
Minister Kamper is a lifelong resident of the St George area which he now partially represents as Member for Rockdale. In addition to his Lands and Property ministry, he also holds the Small Business, Multiculturalism and Sport portfolios.
Kamper has extensive experience in small business – he joined his family’s business, Kamper Chartered Accountants, in the years after finishing school in Kogarah and headed the firm for over 30 years with his brother, growing it into one of New South Wales’ largest and most successful suburban firms. This was in addition to his presidency at Sydney Olympic Football Club as it competed in the National Soccer League.
Kamper entered parliament in 2015 after defeating incumbent Liberal Rockdale MP John Flowers, increasing his winning margin by at least five percentage points at each election since. He is a good friend of Premier Chris Minns, who represents the neighbouring electorate of Kogarah.
